Studying States of Consciousness

The puzzle of consciousness is so devilish that scientists and philosophers are still struggling with how to talk about it, let alone figure out what it is and where it comes from.

One problem is that the word has more than one meaning. Trying to plumb the nature of self-awareness or self-consciousness leads down one infamous rabbit hole. But what if the subject is simply the difference in brain activity between being conscious and being unconscious?

The past is dead and the future is unknown. Now is now. Anxiety is born in the past, and its goal is the future. Anxiety can be either slayed or nurtured now. Slaying anxiety is to accept the now as your life. To take it by the reins and have control. The easy way is to nurture anxiety. To milk it, it makes you think its feeding you life. But its taking your life to reach its goal.

This blog shall have purpose, Beyond the common tumblr. I have realized of late that my ideas and the ideas of my peers are not represented within our current culture, In politics especially. This blog is a place where those ideas can be shared and considered. I want to focus on very broad issues. Mainly but not limited to:

  • Spirituality and the removal of the seat of religion in our government.
  • Modern issues of civil rights concerning many groups of people
  • The problems of the economy and the problems that come with money in general. 
  • Overall respect of all people, not just the 1%, or the Politician, But the equality of every person on this planet.

I feel there is real need for a shift in consciousness these days. The future looks bleak because the people that make decisions for large groups of people are exposed to commonly to corruption and shadyness. There are way to many people screaming in the streets for change, there is too little change. The populous is completely ignored. The systems are all flawed.
